Aethera Lab builds AI systems that understand physical space — turning a single photo of a room into a designed, shoppable, buildable result.
Why we started
Everyone can picture the room they want. Almost nobody can get there.
Between the mood board and the finished room sits a wall of specialist work: measuring, sourcing, pricing, sequencing. Design tools skipped that wall entirely — they produced images that could not be built and products that could not be bought.
Aethera Lab started in 2026 with a narrower and harder question: can a model recover the actual geometry of a room from one photograph, and design inside it? Once the answer was yes, everything else — the app, Studio, the API — followed from it.

How we work
Four things we do not compromise on.
Space before pixels
Every model we ship starts from geometry, light and human scale — not from a pretty picture. If it cannot be built, it is not a design.
Taste is a system
We encode the rules real interior designers use — proportion, palette, material honesty — so results feel authored, never auto-generated.
Own your work
Small teams, direct ownership, no hand-offs. The person who designs a feature ships it and answers for it.
Trust is a feature
Your photos are yours. We are explicit about what a model sees, what it stores, and what it will never be trained on.
